TRENTINO MXGP: ALSO ARNAUD TONUS GETS PODIUM

Back in Europe, the MXGP arrives in Italy, in Pietramurata circuit.
In a suggestive mountains landscape in Trentino and followed by many supporters, the Swisse Arnaud Tonus is the one who keeps up the Brand in the home race.
The Yamaha Wilvo rider is 9th at the starting gates, but thanks to the  sprint of his YZ450F he immediately finds the rhythm to get a positive second place in the first heat.
In Heat 2, the Suomy rider loses few important seconds due to a less lucky start, but fortunately he finds the right way to collect necessary points for an important podium.

In MX2, once again, Thomas Olsen and Thomas Covington, Rockstar Husqvarna team riders, collect important championship points, getting respectively 4th and 5th place.

In the opening round of the European Championship EMX250 the new born synergy between SUOMY and Kawasaki Bud Racing Team has been presented with Tristan Charboneau and Marshal Weltin riders.

ARGENTINA MOTO3: LIVIO LOI GETS 6TH PLACE

Landed in South America, the MotoGp is still unkind with Andrea Dovizioso, Suomy Knight in the maximum category: after quite difficult free and a qualifying sessions, he starts from P13 and is forced to a catch up. During the 15th lap, after he gained 5th position, he is involved in a crash, caused by Aleix Espargarò who was following few meters far.

The best performance for our SR SPORT arrives in Moto3 thanks to the Belgian  Livio Loi. The Leopard Racing Team rider, started from P12, finds immediately a good feeling for a catch up that brings him 6th on the finish line.
Maria Herrera as well, starting from 20th place, goes up until15th position .

Difficult Weekend for Yonny Hernandez, trying to adapt to new category, finishes in Moto2 low-ranking.

MEXICO MX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: COVINGTON WINS IN MX2

In the final weekend for the South Americatour, the Husqvarna team rider finds the best conditions to race at the highest level

In one of the most tiring tracks of the Championship, at  more than 1500mt above the sea,  Thomas Covington wins the qualification MX2 race and gains the most wanted starting gate.
In Race1, the jump at the start is not perfect and the American rider is forced to a difficult catch-up, considering the insidiousness of the track, finishing in 4th position.
It’s all another matter in Race 2: he gets his payback, it’s immediately Holeshot and, after a head to head with Jonass  at the beginning, he keeps the first position until the checkered flag, giving the first victory of the season to Suomy Alpha.

In MXGP Arnaud Tonus gets the best result for Suomy, finishing  4th  in the general ranking,
