With a very good pole position Andrea Dovizioso starts in the best way the Dutch weekend of the Assen MotoGP, which leaves its traditional program with the race advanced on Saturday, in order to conform to the standard of Sunday. On the other hand, what has not changed is the usual Dutch weather, absolutely unstable.
The Suomy bearer loses some meters at start, but thanks to the good feeling is able to remain behind Hernandez and Rossi. At ninth lap Dovi passes in second position and after two laps takes the lead of the race. At the 14th lap rain intensifies and obliges the direction to put the red flag.
After the shower, the race starts again and the Ducati rider, this time is in the high part of the standing, but the trap is round the corner: the following lap, due to the high rhythm and a not performing tire, he slips on the ground and compromises the podium.

In Moto2 Alex Rins has to face a difficult race, run with intelligence and with a defensive strategy which will let him gain important points in view of the Championship.

Meanwhile, at almost 1000 Km. distance the twelfth appointment of MXGP world championship took place in Mantova, with  Kevin Strijbos still absent from the race for convalescence.

In MX2 Thomas Covington, the American in Husqvarna Rockstar team, touches for only two seconds the podium in race1, while his teammate Max Antie closes in fifth position.
In race2 Conrad Mewse keeps the Soumy Alpha name in the top ten thanks to his ninth position.
More difficult weekend for Samuele Bernardini on TM Racing Factory: despite the good aeration of his Suomy Alpha Warrior, in high temperature features, the Italian rider has to stop in both heats in the box for rehydrate himself.

Victory of the day for Suomy then arrived in the European Championship EMX250with Bas Vaessen: thanks to a constant improvement, race after race the Factory Team Suzuki rider won race2: and thanks to his third position on race1 he gained the first place in Italian GP standing.

Unlucky weekend in the European EMX125 Championship for TM Factory: during free practice Alessandro Manucci broke his right foot, having a forced rest; Paolo Lugana, after a good start makes a very good first part of the race in the first positions; but he is also affected by the high temperature and by some mistakes, which make him back in 19th position.

Weekend to forget the last one in Matterley Basin, the English stage of the world MXGP, where the SUOMY team have seen the most important representative in the maximum category out of the race:

Kevin Strijbos, due to a bad fall in Spain Gp, after due medical checks, is not ready yet to face the race weekend, so he is obliged not to ride his Suzuki, leaving the SUOMY Mr. Jump “hang up”.

Rescue time in MX2 for the three riders of Husqvarna Rockstar team with Suomy Alpha, which on Team home track, close the day in the top ten: Max Anstie, after winning the qualifying race, gets in the GP ranking the fifth position. With same energy Conrad Mewse in race one keeps for many laps the third position, then, in the second half of the race, he loses two positions, ending as fifth. The ninth place in race two, will let the English rider gain the seventh position in the GP ranking.

Also the American Thomas Covington, after a deserving sixth place in race1, has some technical problems during the second run, which make him go back to the tenth place in the GP ranking.

The Italian Samuele bernardini-TM Racing-despite some traffic penalizing him during both days, continues showing his constancy and with the 16 points of the day defends his height position in the ranking of MX2 championship.

In European championship Bas Vaessen (Suzuki Factory) gets a second place in EMX250; Yental Martens (Husqvarna Rockstar)  two fourth places in EMX300;Alessandro Manucci (TM Racing) a twelfth position in EMX125; Paolo Lugana (TM Racing) due to the disadvantaged starting position, is not able to get points for ranking in EMX 125 category.
