Once the regular season ended, the best circus riders met at the renewed Maggiora circuit to play the long-waited Motocross of Nations, the trophy reserved to the best national motocross representatives; and also SUOMY had the chance to be there, thanks to their best representatives presence (Kevin Strijbos BE SUOMY Mr Jump; Arminas Jasikonis LTU SUOMY Mr Jump; Samuele Bernardini ITA SUOMY Alpha; Max Anstie UK SUOMY Alpha)

Averted the bad weather, the Italian track has then guaranteed the best premises for a high level competition, with a very motivated riders, in order to bring an important contribution to their national team.

The waiting time to the green light has seen an exciting parade of all the timeless Motocross myths: among Italians also Maurizio Dolce was present, the first Italian who won the Trophy of Nations. In this occasion the champion from north Italy could show a brand new graphic version of Suomy Alpha, recalling exactly the graphic leading actor of the many victories of Dolce.

In MXGP category the "Belgian knight" Kevin Strijbos arrives to the event in a very positive state of grace, so that he is able to get two important third places in the two manches. The Belgian team will not arrive to podium only for three points of difference from the USA team; but the SUOMY rider in the highest category shown a great consistency and technical skills.

The Italian circuit puts a strain of traffic and stones on the Italian Samuele Bernardini, the English Max Anstie and Arminas Jasikonis; despite all difficulties the three riders have been able anyway to complete the programmed tests, increasing the points of their own team.

SUOMY ALPHA & EERO REMES WORLD ENDURO CHAMPIONS

At the end of his first season Suomy Alpha becomes world championship with Eero Remes & TM Racing in the enduro E1 world championship.

With the last exciting date in Cahors, France, the enduro world championship ended with the world champion Eero Remes at starting gate in first position, thanks to a really constant season, enriched by even 11 season victories. The first race day does scare everybody due to a bad fall of the Finnish rider, but not even the bad blow to his hand prevented the rider to get the third place during the day, and the title of world championship E1 the following day.

The graduate world champion is not the only one leading an Alpha Warrior on the podium: even the Italian Manuel Monni during the first day of race gets a third place which let him automatically get the bronze medal in E3 world championship. The young Oliver Nelson too, engaged in the Junior world championship, is able to end his season in the top 10 of the ranking reserved for emergent enduro riders.

High satisfaction then for a new off-road helmet, which, already from his first season has proved to be very functional in enduro sector, concretely supporting the carrier of two famous riders who, thanks to TM Racing, have been finally able to show their real potential on the most prestigious stage of international enduro.

The official TM Racing team will come back next week-end for the final assault also in the Italian Enduro Championship.

MISANO SHOW: RINS REOPENS MOTO2 CHAMPIONSHIP

With an audience of almost 100.000 supporters, Alex Rins holds high Suomy name in one of the most exciting weekend of 2016 season, and he arrives at -3 points from Moto 2 leadership.

Despite consequences of a recent operation to collarbone, Alex Rins has been able to find the concentration to start already from first moments of free tests the search of optimal set up, for Sunday race.
In spite of departure in eighth position, the start at green light has been very positive and the Suomy rider is able to come back to the third position, during the first four laps, while at the sixth lap he is already in the lead of the race. During following laps the advantage on pursuers increases up to reaching almost 2 seconds of difference, but in the second part of the race the pain at collarbone starts increasing and the advantage gained lap after lap is reduced up to the overtake of the Italian Baldassarri, at second-last lap. Rins does not give up and stays behind the new leader to launch his counterattack, which takes place in the last turns of the race. The operation is anyway too complicated, the Catalan rider follows an unfavorable trajectory, too wide, fateful for victory. The second place is anyway an excellent result which let the championship be reopened, with only 3 points from Zarco leadership.

After the first appearance during Mugello race, in MotoGP we find back the SR SPORT helmet of Andrea Dovizioso with the special graphic “Italian Dovi Stallion”: a radial pattern of bands with typical “Dovi” colors, blue in the front and red in the back, crossing the helmet from right to left, joining on Suomy  elliptical logos; on the back, as warning to those who follow, there is the muzzle of a really massive and  angry stallion snorting and pawing. Considering the high interest shown by riders and fans, the sales management of Suomy is glad to advance that development of this model replica, faithfully reproduced, is now almost ending, for distribution to sales net, planned approximately for end November.
Coming back to sports news, Andrea Dovizioso, in addition to the massive horse, has to handle also a really tough Ducati Desmosedici, requiring a lot of physicality, but despite the efforts and the summer hot, he is able to end in sixth position, behind the riders at top of the ranking.
