The blue sky of a beautiful Sunday. The green of the grass that surrounds Mugello circuit. And a lot of red on the MotoGp podium.

These are the colors of the Italian GP 2018.

The Suomy standard-bearer Andrea Dovizioso goes  back home with an important second place in the MotoGP of Italy.

After having broken down the maximum speed record of Mugello circuit during the Saturday qualifying practices, DesmoDovi earns the seventh position in the starting grid of the home GP.

The red light turn out. Dovi is fast and in a few laps he is able to move into second position behind his team-mate.

For the rest of the race Andrea grits his teeth and manages to keep the second place, despite the wrong choice of the front tire that causes some issues.

And, in front of an endless crowd, he gets on the podium bringing with him, for the first time, the new SR-GP project helmet!

An undertone race for the other Suomy riders of Moto 2 and Moto 3.

Stefano Manzi and Romano Fenati, respectively due to a crash and a problem with the bike, are forced to retire.

Outside the points zone ,both Federico Fuligni and Livio Loi.

An undertone day, for our standard-bearer involved in the seventh round of the MotoGP World Championship at the Circuit de Barcelona.

In the premier class, Andrea Dovizioso, starting from the front row, is able to impose himself from the first laps, managing to stay in third position, just behind Lorenzo and Marquez.

Unexpectedly, with sixteen laps to go, DesmoDovi crashes, losing the chance to take back home a podium that seemed to be within his reach.

Unlucky race for our Moto2 talents too.

Romano Fenati, after a good start and a solid catch up, with eleven laps to go, when he is one step away from the top ten, slides into the gravel and he is forced to resume the race from the thirtieth position. Due to the crash, his bike suffered damage that forced him to retire after few laps.

Stefano Manzi does not finish the first lap and Federico Fuligni retires when there are 8 laps to go.

In Moto3, Livio Loi, starting from the twenty-eighth place on the grid, is able to make an important step forward, moving up and being fifteenth under the checkered flag, adding another point to the World Championship classification.

Ottobiano, the second home race for Suomy in the long calendar of the MXGP World Championship.
And we will remember it as a "podium race".
The first heat sees the triumph of Thomas Covington, who for the third race in a row, gets on the podium together with his Suomy Alpha, consolidating his evident growth. Podium lost by a whisker, in race2. The number 64 finishes the weekend in second place, in the general classification of the day.
Thomas Olsen takes home a fifth place in race 1 and wins a splendid silver medal in race2. Important points for the number 19, which thus strengthens his third place in the world rankings.
Satisfactory results for Samuele Bernardini who finishes, in race1, at the twenty-sixth place, while in race2, he arrives sixteenth.
A positive round also for Max Nagl who, with Suomy MrJump, wins in MXGP, respectively a seventh and a ninth place in the two heats, ensuring a good seventh place in the general classification of the day.
Kevin Strijbos, after a complicated first round, finishes race2 in seventh place, securing the top ten, as a final result.

The Next stop of the 2018 FIM Motocross World Championship will take place in two weeks time on 1 of July in Indonesia on the Pangkal Pinang track.
