But we have to add something, as our talent claimed the final MotoGP victory of 2018.
Ricardo Tormo Circuit. A track that has always been a bit insidious for DesmoDovi, but that now has also his name between the winners.
A long and rainy weekend, but Dovi is awareness of the work done and sure of his strength.
On Sunday, the commissioners declare "wet race". Andrea, on the starting grid, is on the first row, third box.
He starts well and immediately manages to make up some precious positions that allow him, after a few laps, to secure himself the second place. He likes the rain.
Due to an heavy rain fell, the race has been red flagged on lap 14. With three-quarter race distance not completed, a 14 lap race was scheduled and only the riders who were classified on lap 13 allowed to re-start, with their position on the lap before the red flag that deciding the order of the grid. Dovi is second, but he manages to immediately lead the group, dominating until the checkered flag with four second of advantage.
Champagne for SR-GP. Another Sunday to remember.
Other smiles to be engraved in the mind. Still a special emotion.
